BIOGRAPHY - Adam Bauder

Starting out as a graphic designer and advancing to web design near the dawn of…well…web design, Adam Bauder has decided that painting should be his day job. Always interested in drawing, Adam was introduced to photorealism in High School through the works of Chuck Close, Richard Estes and Ralph Goings. He is driven to reach the skill level of these early pioneers in his own work, with an eye to today’s hyperrealism. Adam’s favorite subject is the human form and portraiture. His idea of a good (painting) time is to create compositions that tell a story from afar, while revealing a bit of himself in the details he’s planted for discovery up close.
