BIOGRAPHY

Julie Bell, born in 1958, hails from Beaumont, Texas and married Boris Vallejo, the Peruvian fantasy artist, in 1994.   From 1990 – 2000 she has devoted a major portion of her artistic career to fantasy art and has been commissioned by many international corporations, such as Nike, Coca-Cola and the Ford Motor Company.  In addition, she has created approximately 100 covers for fantasy and science-fiction books, video game covers and trading cards for Marvel and DC's superheroes.  In the early 2000’s Bell designed the cover for Meat Loaf’s albums, Bat out of Hell III: The Monster is Loose, It’s All Coming Back to Me Now and Hang Cool Teddy Bear.

In 2000 she began a series of paintings featuring animals (horses, wolves, lions, etc.) painted in a more realistic manner and is now ready to present these amazing works to the public.
